- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I'm a long term patient with seven surgeries that included titanium bars securing my complete cervical and lumbar regions. I retired to Michigan and my primary doctor in Ohio referred me to dr Gary Fuchs for pain management. Previous pain doctor gave me enough 50 ug fentanyl patches (my stable dose) until my appointment with dr Fuchs. My appointment was on Friday October 14th at which time I had 9 days of my patches left. I have always had a pristine record and assumed there would be no problems with Dr Fuchs. The minute he entered the room I was immediately attacked concerning my long list of medications. When I attempted to share my records he tossed them back at me and commented they made no sense. I currently have 8 days worth of narcotics and he didn't offer to help me, give me a script or bridge me until I found another doctor. He also agreed to let me go through withdrawal at the age of 62. Dr Fuchs continually talked at random concerning my medication list and that he didn't have to accept a patient like me. He even placed his medical assistant in the middle and she walked out. I've never been treated in this manner by any pain management physician and truly believe he's abusing drugs. This Doctor should be invested by the medical board for what I consider numerous unethical behaviors.June 18, 2017by Connie Baxter
